Welcome to the RRCA Health Office

It is the goal of the health office to promote the health of each student, which enhances optimal learning. Remember to get a good night's sleep and to eat breakfast every day.

In order to provide the best care to the student, it is important for the health office to have current health and contact information. Please complete the student's health authorization form, including the health history, current medications, and accurate phone numbers. Keep us updated as things change throughout the school year.

Immunization notice:
Click here for current immunization information.
These state requirements must be met for a student to enroll in and attend school.
All 7th grade students are required to have the Tdap immunization.

Medications at school:
All medicine at school is given through the health office. Contact us or click  here for the forms that must be completed and returned to us. Some emergency medication may be carried by the student with the required forms on file in the health office.

Attendance Policy for Illness:
Please do not send the student to school if they have had a fever (100 degrees or greater) or vomiting within the previous 24 hours. Students with a fever or vomiting will be sent home from school.

Health Screenings:
Vision and Hearing screenings are performed on all 7th grade students and all students who are new to the school district, in accordance with New Mexico guidelines. Additionally, students who show signs of vision or hearing difficulty may be screened to rule out a problem. If a concern exists, you will be notified and referred for further evaluation.  Screenings may also be done at your request.
